Most of the gems used are collected or originate from Mexico. But to make this soulful meCHICas collection, we travel all over to find the best beads and stones. These carefully selected high quality materials are the basis of the harmonious meCHICas bracelets, necklaces, earrings, anklets and rings.

meCHICas … is rooted in Mexico. Debbie Verhagen, together with the Mexican designer and shaman Mateo Zepeda, laid the foundation for the Amsterdam store that was opened in 2006. Debbie Verhagen, owner and main designer of meCHICas, makes her jewelry collections in its adjacent studio. This is where the production process takes place, from the design table to a perfect piece of jewelry with a soul. Michiel Poodt is a photographer and responsible for the photos and the web-design of meCHICas.com …
